As part of the new sewer rate study, the County of Imperial recently completed an assessment of the community of Niland.  This assessment identifies the types and number of users that currently use and/or are connected to the sewer system.  The term that is used to describe the amount of sewer demand created by the occupants of a property/parcel is an Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU).  Sewer rates are based on the number of EDUs identified for each property.

To review how many EDUs were identified on your parcel see Sewer Impact Assessment.
